BloomMates allows users to nurture their mental health through engaging wellness activities and tending their virtual garden. Users can complete daily tasks attached to these activities in order to earn PetalPennies.
Once users accumulate enough PetalPennies, they can buy materials for virtual bouquets, such as ribbons, wrapping paper, and postcards. The virtual flowers that the user has grown can be then used and sent to their loved ones.
The user can add their friends and family on the app, and send these virtual bouquets to them at any time of the day, for free. Users can also customize their BloomRoom and display their favorite bouquet to be shown to others.
When the user has enough PetalPennies, they can redeem them for a coupon at a local florist in their area. This allows them to get real-world flowers at a discounted price! BloomMates currently partners with three local florists in Northfield, Minnesota.
